The 25th Lakeside High School Commencement Ceremony
will be on Thursday, May 28, 2026, at 6:00 PM.
- Senior Class Picture: Thursday, May 7th at 7:30 AM, at the Intermediate Campus Bell Tower. Students on campus will be called at 7:25 AM. Those Students who do not have 1st Period must arrive by 7:25 AM and meet at the Bell Tower.
- Senior Walk-Through: Seniors will walk through the Intermediate Campus Buildings in their Caps & Gowns on this day. Exact time and information will be provided soon.
- Senior Awards: This will be held on Wednesday, May 20th, at 6:00 PM, in the JH Cafeteria. Students and their Families receiving awards and scholarships at this event will be invited.
- Baccalaureate: This is a special, religious Graduation Ceremony for those Graduating Seniors who are interested in attending and their Families. This event will be held on Tuesday, May 26th, at 6:00 PM, in the Huron Cafeteria.
- Commencement Rehearsal: This will occur on Wednesday, May 27th, from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM(ish). Commencement Rehearsal (as well as this year's Commencement) will occur at SPIRE Academy (5201 Spire Cir, Geneva, OH). Seniors are required to attend this rehearsal or they will not be permitted to walk at Commencement. We will be going over the logistics, practicing walking to and from their seats, reading names (for correct pronunciation), and reviewing expectations for Commencement.
- Commencement: This will occur on Thursday, May 28th, at 6:00 PM, at SPIRE Academy (5201 Spire Cir, Geneva, OH). Seniors can expect to arrive no later than 4:45 PM, BUT this may be modified as the date draws nearer. There will be no tickets for this year's Commencement, so anyone wishing to attend and sit in the bleachers is permitted to do so. Accommodations will be made for handicapped seating, which will be sent out as the event draws closer.
