A Message from Mr. Whetherholt

A Message from Mr. Whetherholt

As the end-of-course exams approach, I want to ensure you're as prepared as possible for the day ahead. It's natural to feel a mix of anticipation and anxiety, but with the right mindset and preparation, you can confidently approach the day. Firstly, getting a good night's sleep before the exam is crucial. Aiming for at least 8 hours of sleep will help keep your mind sharp and focused. Equally important is starting your day with a nutritious breakfast. Breakfast will help you sustain energy levels throughout your exams.

Before you leave home, double-check your supplies. Having all necessary materials, such as pens, pencils, erasers, and a calculator (if permitted), ready to go can prevent any last-minute stress.

Comfort is critical, so dress in comfortable clothing.  Please make sure they are school-appropriate.

Once the exam is underway, please maintain a calm and positive demeanor. Techniques such as deep breathing or visualization can effectively manage nerves. Please take the time to read all instructions carefully to understand exactly what you're expected, and manage your time carefully to allocate adequate attention to each section or question according to its weight and difficulty. Trust in the hard work and preparation you've invested leading up to this day, and remember, you are well-equipped to tackle the challenges ahead.

Exams are essential in your educational journey but don't define your entire future. Approach the day with your best effort, and know that we believe in your potential and are cheering you on.

Please let me know if you have any last-minute questions or need further assistance. If you need to know where your testing location is, please check with your teachers, as they will have that information available. I wish you the very best of luck on your exam day!
