Introducing PaperLive!

We are excited to announce that this summer students will have access to unlimited, free, live educational programming that is specially created and curated to spark inspiration and pull the threads of their imagination! Everything from astronomy, nature, improv, engineering to brain puzzles and much more. The interactive programming seeks to offer something for every student with more sessions being created every day.

SUMMER OF DISCOVERY

ATTENTION HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS AND FAMILIES:

The Summer of Discovery Program began on June 1st and ends on June 24th. The program runs on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. It begins at 10:00 am and ends at 4:30 pm and Thursdays are our field trip days.

Summer School Session June 6th

LHS SUMMER SCHOOL REMINDER: Per Principal Dr. Perkins:
Those who signed up for summer school, that summer session starts on Monday, June 6th at 8 am - 12 pm. Our summer session hours are Monday through Friday from 8 am - 12 pm, June 6th through July 1st. Thank you

LHS Art Students Showcased in June at Ashtabula County District Library

The following LHS Art Students will have their work showcased at the Ashtabula County District Library from a contest titled “2022 Black History And Me Art & Writing Contest”. This contest was sponsored by the Ashtabula County NAACP, Kent State University and Ashtabula County District Library.

Beginning June 1, 2022, their work will be on display at the William Tokarczyk Exhibition Gallery at the Ashtabula Public Library, 4335 Park Ave., Ashtabula, and will be displayed through June 29, 2022. The gallery is open Monday through Thursday from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m., Friday 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and Saturday, 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. It is closed on Sunday.
Winners of the contest will be announced, and certificates will be presented at the Juneteenth Celebration at Lakeshore Park on Saturday, June 18, 2022. The Juneteenth event is scheduled for 12-9 PM.
There will also be an Artists' Reception, Saturday, June 25, 2022, from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Ashtabula Public Library. The reception is open to the public and refreshments will be served.

SWEET TOOTH- Family Consumer Science Celebrates World Baking Day

Lakeside students in Mrs.Brandehoff's Family Consumer Science classes celebrated World Baking Day. Students worked in groups to prepare a delicious treat for others to enjoy! These activities are not only fun, but help students prepare for essential life skills as they become adults.

2022 AACS Commencement Ceremony

For the convenience of those who cannot attend Graduation in person, the A-Tech/Lakeside Multimedia Program will be providing Live Stream Coverage of the 2022 Graduation Ceremony. The Broadcast will begin Tuesday, May 24th at 5:45pm and will remain archived on the site for 90 days. You can find the stream here:
