ASVAB
The ASVAB is a FREE multiple-aptitude battery that measures developed abilities and helps predict future academic and occupational success in the military. This is an OPTIONAL test for most students. It is a required test, if you plan to join the U.S. Armed Forces.
The ASVAB test will be offered to LHS students in November of their 11th grade year. Seniors may arrange to take the test by signing up in the Guidance Office prior to November 15th.
The total time required, including administrative tasks and instructions, is three to four hours. Each subtest has a fixed number of questions and time limit, as shown in the table below.
