Looking for a summer job???

Adventure Zone at Geneva on the Lake is looking to hire. 

Pay will vary based on age and the job that you will be holding.
$10 / hour for 1st year team members
$11 / hour for returnees

Students should be at least 16, but are looking to hire some 15 year old's.
In order to work the Zip Line, you need to be 18. If there are any slots open as they fill quickly, and once you are certified as 'tower trained' the starting pay is $12 / hour. 
All employees are eligible for a $1 an hour bonus, retroactive to the first hour of employment if they work the scheduled shifts, until 3 days before their school starts in the fall and work the 4th of July and Labor Day weekends. Essentially, those that stick it out for the summer will make anywhere from $11 - $13 an hour. 

Responsibilities may include the safe and efficient operation of one or more of Adventure Zone's attractions including adult and children's rides, working registers in the Arcade, selling food, managing group gatherings and birthday parties, and most of all having a summer of fun!! Duties may also include inventory management, record keeping, filing daily reports and fulfilling other essential tasks. 

Applicants must be patient, poised, and able to cope with special situations. Courtesy, alertness, a positive attitude, and the ability to learn quickly are necessary. Must also be safety conscious, able to interpret both written and verbal instructions, be able to work outside in all weather conditions for long periods of time as well as be aware of the the serious nature of the job and are required to follow strict safety guidelines. You must be well groomed and self-disciplined. An outgoing personality, excellent interpersonal skills and a good work ethic are essential. Employees must commit to working the holiday weekends of Memorial Day, Fourth of July and Labor Day. (If student classes begin before Labor Day, they will be expected to return to work for that weekend.) We offer excellent, competitive pay schedules, free attraction tickets, bonuses for those who work the whole season and food discounts.

Adventure Zone is located at 5600 Lake Road, Geneva on the Lake. The park offers go karts, bumper boats, climbing and repelling walls, batting cages, bungee tramps, miniature golf, a huge arcade, one of Ohio's largest indoor play centers, a refurbished carousel, a Zip line plus two escape rooms, as well as golf cart rentals.
The park will be open weekends in May and will begin daily operation immediately after Memorial Day.
